Why I Like the Couple
Well, there's a lot of reasons... let's see if I can organize 'em...

I like both characters a lot, which always helps.

Wormmon cared enough about Ken to actually openly defy and attack him to
save him (even Gabumon didn't go against Yamato when Yamato turned on the
other Chosen Children).

Wormmon's instrumental theme is titled Ken-chan....

When asked in the Christmas group song sung by the Digimon what he wanted
for Christmas, he said, simply: "Uh... Ken-chan!"

Episode 42 in Japan... snickers A little Mexican girl with a Gotsumon
takes quite a liking to Ken and starts hanging all over him... and Wormmon
very much does not like this...

They just seem to have a deeper, more dramatic relationship than most of
the other characters on the show.
