Grace translated the lyrics to the songs, btw. What can I say, I love their image songs! =^-^=
Koushiro was typing, once again, on his computer. He had attached his digivice to his laptop and was attempting to program it in hopes to make it expand it's detection barriers, which would permit it to scan a larger geographical area for the eighth digidestined child.
In other words, he was attempting to get it to work.
Which, even for Koushiro the mighty computer wizard, was proving to be more than difficult. Looking at the programming was easy enough, however, it would not let him alter it for some reason.
Once again, when he had attempted to edit even a letter on the programming of the digivice, the screen beeped at him "access: denied" then started to go into the long explanations, which, when read, only made him even more frustrated and more determined to get it to work.
Eventually, Koushiro became so frustrated with his computer that he hit his desk.
"Koushiro, son, are you alright?" Mr.Izumi peered into the room, hearing grumbling coming from Koushiro.
"I'm alright, just can't get this stupid thing to work..." Koushiro grumbled, his fingers typing away, going at it again.
"Oh? What are you trying to do?" Mr.Izumi stepped closer to Koushiro. Koushiro instantly remembering that being a digidestined child was supposed to be a secret, quickly grabbed the digivice out of the computer and thrust it into his pocket. "Just..trying to get this program to work!"
"Oh? Let me see, I know a few things about programming.." Mr.Izumi peered at the screen. "Er, Koushiro.."
"Yeah?" Koushiro asked, not paying attention to the screen or his father for a minute.
"Your computer is crashing."
"WHAT?!" Koushiro jumped as he looked at the screen in horror. "Illegal Error - Shutting Down" Koushiro tried to quickly type in some commands to stop the process however it was too late. The laptop shut down.
"GRRRR.." Koushiro grumbled as he hit the desk again. He was about to turn it back on when he heard the telephone ring.
"How about you get it son? You could use some time away from this computer.." Mr.Izumi pushed Koushiro out of his computer chair and out of his room.
"Ok ok.." Koushiro grumbled again as he went to pick up the phone. 'If you had left me alone I could of got it to work you know...'
"Moshi moshi..." Koushiro almost whispered into the phone as he brought out his digivice to look it over for any clue as how to get his program to work.
"Hi, you sound happy. Did I call at a bad time?" Jyou's voice returned to him over the phone. Although Jyou's voice made Koushiro's heart start skipping beats, his voice did not reflect that emotion.
"No..." he grumbled. Koushiro returned to his laptop as soon as his father left him alone, and powered it up.
"What's wrong?" Jyou's voice sounded worried.
"Well, remember how the digivice wouldn't work at a long range at the subway station and only work at a close range?" Koushiro quickly cut to the point.
"Yeah, why?"
"Well, I've been trying to get it to work at a long range again but I can't get into it's program, maybe I should try taking it apart..." Koushiro brought his hand up to his chin and started to stroke it, deep in thought. Then he brightened with another busy thought. "Hey, Jyou, any luck with the phone calls?"
"Oh yeah..." Jyou said sarcastically, yet there seemed to be a tad of regret in his voice.
"And?" Koushiro asked, annoyed. 'I love him, but sometimes he gets too depressed, even for me.'
"Well, so far have the kids have laughed in my face and the other half have asked me who I am after I explain it to them." Jyou sighed.
Koushiro shook his head. "Finding this eighth child is getting to be harder than what I anticipated, I thought for sure he would be easy to find with the DIGIVICES..." Koushiro said, sounding thoroughly annoyed. "So who's the next number on the list?"
"Izumi, Koushiro." Jyou giggled.
Koushiro smiled in amusement however was too involved with finding a screwdriver in his room to laugh out loud, and Jyou could not see through the telephone. Koushiro snarled in frustration. "I wish I could find the screwdriver to take this thing apart and maybe I could get it to work, UGH.."
"Hey, Koushiro?"
"Yeah?" Koushiro started to look under his bed. His last resort and hope to find his screwdriver.
"You think that maybe you should calm down just a little?"
"Look, Jyou. I'm really sorry I'm not very talkative right now however I am a little busy trying to speed up our search for the eighth child!"
"Well I was busy searching for the eighth child too you know, but then when I saw your phone number in my address book I thought I might call and see how you were! But it's obvious your computer and puzzles always come first!"
Koushiro stopped dead in his tracks. He realized what he had been doing. "Jyou...I'm sorry, Jyou, I didn't mean...that's not.."
"It's alright, Koushiro." Jyou sighed. "We're all on edge lately with Vandemon and the eighth child and all, everyone is a little on edge."
"I'm...I'm really sorry, Jyou..I didn't mean.." Koushiro tried meekly to explain, to apologize.
"It's alright, don't worry about it." Jyou said reassuringly, his voice welcoming. "Just take it easy, ok? I'll call you later, we're both a little busy." *click*
Koushiro looked at the phone sadly, his eyes glistening. "No..it's not ok.." Koushiro swallowed. He had recognized Jyou's tone of voice, and knew full well what had happened.
His "business" had hurt Jyou's feelings, for he had recognized it in Jyou's voice.
"Jyou.." Koushiro whispered sadly. He pondered calling Jyou back and explaining everything, however, that might just make things worse. 'Better to leave him alone, then..'
'Not for too long, however..' Koushiro remember the last time he had left Jyou alone, and regretted it.
"But it's obvious your computer and puzzles always come first!"
Jyou's voice came back later to haunt Koushiro.
Koushiro was still working on the digivice, still trying to get it to work, and was still having no success. His thoughts were focused on Jyou, and he kept replaying that one sentence over and over in his head.
"But it's obvious your computer and puzzles always come first!"
'Is that what you really think, Jyou..?' Koushiro finally stopped typing and gave up the program. It was no use, no matter how hard he tried he could not gear his concentration towards the program.
'That's not true at all, quite the opposite is true, actually..' Koushiro thought, wishing he could say that to Jyou right now.
'But does Jyou know that?'
Koushiro sighed. 'No, obviously not.' Koushiro then turned off his laptop, and lay down on his bed. He laced his hands behind his head and let his thoughts return completely to Jyou. 'Jyou, do I really make you think that my computer comes first? Do I really act like that?'
'Well today I did, but just because...' Koushiro winced. 'If he said something, then maybe I have been acting like it for longer than today then, if he thinks like that....'
'Jyou...I...I'm not that good at expressing how I feel romantically like most couples do, however, I express my feelings honestly.....' Koushiro started to wonder about how he could tell Jyou how much he meant to him, of what he truly felt in his heart for him, of what truly did come first.
After awhile of thinking, Koushiro was close to giving up and going to ask his mother because he could not think of anything on his own. Then he just sat still, thinking nothing, doing nothing, staring at the ceiling while his mind wandered.
'Jyou...'
The sweetest, most beautiful name he had ever heard in his entire life. If his heart could sing, his heart would sing that name...Jyou..
Koushiro then smiled. He now knew what to do.
Koushiro got up, sat in his computer chair and turned on his computer.
Koushiro drummed his fingers against the desk, sighing softly to himself. 'When I originally thought of this, it seemed like a good idea.' Koushiro typed some letters to get himself to think or at least to get his fingers moving. For once, typing automatically took effort.
'Finding the midi was easy enough, at least..' Koushiro started to play the midi he had chosen. Not nice, soft, slow and romantic, rather, upbeat techno dance music. It may not seem like a good thing to profess love with, however, it did suit his personality. And he needed this to be very personal, very like him, in order to truly express himself.
However...
Expression was the harder part. He could not think of anything, as though at the last minute his mind went blank. 'Just when I need my brain the most it bails out on me..' Koushiro though miserably, running a hand through his messy hair.
He sighed, giving up for the moment. He booted up the internet and started to browse through various websites, not paying attention. It was not although he could go to www.love.com and look up 'lovers prose 101'. This had to be original and serious, he could not just look up a poem and give it to Jyou and say that's how he felt. He had to mean it and do it on his own.
That was his thinking anyhow. Koushiro felt that unless he made it up to Jyou, and soon, that there would be an unbeatable artic winds between them forever.
There had been distance between them for three years, which was more than long enough, and he had no intention of letting history repeat itself. Not after what he had nearly lost..
For in slow motion, he watch DeviJyouMon's axe pierce Jyou's flesh and saw the end come out the other side.
"JYOU!! NII-CHAN!!" Koushiro screamed, catching Jyou as he fell back down. "JYOU!!"
Jyou looked up at DeviJyouMon, who was in shock from what happened. "You....my feelings...aren't worth Koushiro's life..." Jyou passed out.
"JYOU!"
Koushiro cringed at the memory. 'That was all my fault, DeviJyouMon...' Koushiro hung his head with guilt. Jyou had never realized, however, Koushiro still blamed himself for DeviJyouMon, and although Jyou was fine now, he would still bear a scar for his mistake. Forever...
Koushiro had started to sniffle when he widened his eyes at an interesting banner on a website for astrology signs. "Start by clicking to a dream.."
Koushiro instantly started typing, only one sentence needed to stir his creativity. He would be romantic, his own style of romance that is. Well, it would be meant to be romantic.
'At least it'll be better than "Roses are red" or something like that' Koushiro thought as his fingers started hammering at his keyboard.
'Maybe I was too mean...' Jyou wondered, his hands were behind his head, his glasses on the night table nearby. He had thought his harsh words over and over, regretting ever saying such a thing now.
Jyou sighed and shook his head. 'Koushiro was just busy, he wasn't trying to be mean to me. It's not like he has to be focused on me 24 hours a day. I should apologize...'
Jyou glanced over to the phone, his best friend as of a late during his search for the eighth child via a phone line.
'Apologizing like that might make things worse, though..' Jyou sighed, returning his gaze to the ceiling. The last thing he needed to do right now was make things worse.
'So if a phone call is what started the whole mess, maybe a phone call should finish it?' Jyou shook his head. 'No, but I should apologize, that was absolutely not true, what I said.'
'Was it?'
Jyou, after watching Taichi and Yamato walk off to enjoy some time to themselves, and Mimi, Sora, and Takeru had all gone fishing, with their digimon following the respected groups, had realized that he and Koushiro were alone near the fire.
However, when Jyou went to sit next to Koushiro, he did not get a response, for Koushiro's focus was purely on his laptop, his fingers hammering away at his keyboard. After a little while he sighed and lowered his head, about ready to flop backwards and take a nap or something tedious like that.
"What's the matter, Jyou?" Koushiro asked while his gaze never left the laptop screen.
"Oh..nothing..." Jyou replied softly, his gaze running deep into the fire.
"I doubt that, Jyou.." Koushiro replied as he suddenly grinned at his screen, revelling in being able to get his difficult program to finally work.
"I was just thinking how nice it was for everyone to leave us alone in the dark with wild, evil digimon around. Even Gomamon's gone! Where'd he go anyhow?" Jyou sighed irritably, his hands wringing, complaining.
Koushiro looked around briefly and then returned his gaze to his laptop, again. Like always. He always had he gaze on his laptop. Always. "I'm not sure, but Tentomon's not here either."
"Maybe they wanted to have some time alone together..." Jyou chuckled, picturing Gomamon and Tentomon caught in a passionate kiss.
"Maybe they're in love, who knows?" Koushiro offered the idea for judgement. Then he started to giggle. "I wonder how they would kiss, anyhow?"
"Lips to...er....whatever that is on Tentomon's face?" Jyou started to laugh.
"Tentomon would suck Gomamon's face in and call it a kiss....unless they don't know what a kiss is." Koushiro started to giggle, his typing speed began to slack due to his laughing.
"Er...Koushiro.." Jyou did his best Tentomon voice. "What's a kiss?" He blinked his eyes wide, as to impersonate their respective digimon bug friend.
"A kiss...er...well.." Koushiro started to blush, even at mock explanations. "A kiss is something that two people who really love each other do."
"And you don't love me, your little fly guardian?"
"What would you be doing guarding my fly..?" Koushiro took a minute to realize the comedic value behind his reply, and then both boys started to laugh out loud.
Soon both boys were laughing so hard they fell backwards, and when Koushiro fell his laptop fell off of him and landed against the log with a hard THUMP and then back on the ground, closed up tight.
"Oh no!" Koushiro gasped as he scrambled to his laptop, turning it on and quickly making sure that everything was alright. Then he hit the ground in frustration.
"My program was deleted! SHOOT!" Koushiro cursed and clenched a fist. "I shouldn't of been goofing off or anything!"
Jyou got up and dusted himself off, feeling guilty for what had happened. He went over and put a hand on Koushiro's shoulder, then said sadly. "I'm sorry, Koushiro..."
Koushiro sighed and shook his head. "It doesn't matter..."
Jyou took his hand from Koushiro's shoulder. "Oh...." Jyou said softly, returning his gaze to the fire, his eyes glistening however he bit his tongue to stop the flow.
Jyou shook his head. 'He had a right to be upset, his program was deleted and he had been working hard on it.'
'He regretted spending time with me because his program was deleted..' Jyou thought miserably, selfishly.
'This is getting me nowhere, feeling sorry for myself. I should stop being so selfish.' Jyou got up and put his glasses on. When his glasses were on, the first thing he could make out would be his own computer. 'Since he's on his so much, he probably checks his e-mail often.' Jyou brightened. 'I'll just send him some e-mail then..'
Jyou turned on his computer, waited for it to load, and when it did, he played his favourite midi while waiting for it to connect. After connection, he opened his favourite internet program.
"Konnichiwa!" JOL (Japan Online) beeped at him, and then the happy message. "You have mail."
"Huh?" Jyou wondered at this, and then clicked on it.
Mail from Koushiro04@jol.com.
"Koushiro?" Jyou wondered as he opened his email, and...
"I hope you like it, it's from my heart." Was all it said, and Jyou looked at the file attachments. "Version Up?" Jyou wondered. 'Did he send me a program?'
After 15 minutes of downloading the file, Jyou clicked the OK to open the program. To his surprise, his mp3 player opened it.
Soon there was a beat, and then a voice began to sing..
'Koushiro?' Jyou wondered.

Jyou jumped. Was Koushiro really singing this? 'I never knew Koushiro could sing!'

Jyou wondered over Koushiro's words in the song for a minute. 'We? Together? Does he mean me?' Jyou then hit his head. 'He sent it to you, what do you figure? Now I'm talking to myself'. Jyou then thought about the word "forgive". Forgive? Maybe Koushiro forgave him?

Jyou wondered at this lyric for a second, then his mind drifted back to yet another of his many, precious memories with Koushiro.
Jyou had been lying out in the grass, late one night. He should not really be doing this, he needed his sleep, however tonight, once he had glanced up at the stars, he found that his gaze could not be moved. After much struggle to draw his attention to something else, such as sleep, he gave up and laid himself down on the grass to stare up at the stars, letting his mind wander.
"What are you looking at up there?" the voice startled Jyou to sit up and see who it was.
That wild red hair and familiar backpack carrying the ever precious laptop over his shoulder was unmistakable. "Hi, Koushiro." Jyou laid back down and returned his gaze to high above him. "Just looking at the stars, they seem very charming tonight..."
"Oh...?" Koushiro sat next to him, joining in his gazing at the sky.
"Yeah.." Jyou breathed. "I think I must be losing my mind, or the stars seem so close tonight, you could almost reach out and touch them." Jyou actually sat up and made a gesture to reach the sky. "Of course, you realize that you can't touch them, that they're beyond your reach. And yet, you still try to reach for them, for whatever reason you might have."
Jyou looked back and Koushiro, and realized that Koushiro had the warmest smile on his face, aimed at him, a smile meant for him.
Or so he hoped.
"W..what..?" Jyou started to fidget and blush under the warm, loving gaze.
"Nothing." Koushiro kept smiling at him, his eyes never leaving Jyou's.
"W...what are you looking at?" Jyou looked away, blushing, from Koushiro's gaze.
"You, the way you were talking about the stars, just seemed so.." Koushiro rolled his brain around for a word that escaped him. "...I'm not really sure how to describe it. Deep, yes that's it, deep and meaningful."
"Really?" Jyou looked back. That was when Jyou noticed how the space between the two boys had decreased considerably and that Koushiro was right next to him. Jyou blushed again at the closeness, however made no effort to leave the closeness.
Koushiro nodded in response. His face was so close, he could practically feel his breath tickling his nose. That was when Koushiro reached a hand up to touch Jyou's face and leaned against him to kiss him.
How many moments did the two sit there, just kissing like that? Who knew, and who cared. It was perfect like that, the two together, just kissing, not caring about anything or anyone else for just those moments, just them two together.
Eventually they laid down together, Jyou with an arm wrapped around Koushiro, holding him close, and Koushiro snuggled into his chest, enjoying the warmth he felt there.
"Do you think we'll ever touch them?" Koushiro asked, breaking the perfect silence.
"Huh..?"
"The stars, I mean. Do you think we'll ever touch them, Jyou?"
"I think I'm touching one right now..." Jyou smiled lovingly at Koushiro, his reason for existence and his raison d'etre.
Koushiro blushed and snuggled into Jyou's chest some more, trying to be as close as he possibly could to Jyou. For even when he achieved that, he wanted to be closer.
"I guess you must be a star as well to touch one...." Koushiro murmured into Jyou's warm chest, with his protective arms around him.
Jyou only smiled in response, his arms tightening around Koushiro, holding him close, feeling warmth from him, a reason to be, his life in his very arms. His life....
"Koushiro...I don't think I could live without you.." Jyou whispered softly. Had he said it outloud? He had meant it to be a thought.
"Nor I you..." Koushiro replied, making a small yawning sound. Jyou stroked Koushiro's hair as he fell asleep against him.
Jyou continued to stare at the stars throughout the night until he too fell asleep with his own star in his arms.

Jyou nodded. 'Yeah...' Jyou glanced at the wallpaper in his room, which he had convinced his brother to sneak in with him, and once it was up his parents did nothing. It was an underwater scene, with fish and even a whale and a shark. The sea, his favourite place in the world.

'To digiworld, to finish our destinies and then return to this world forever to live together in peace.' Jyou thought. Then he realized. 'That's right! The sooner we find the eighth child, the sooner we can be done with all this and the sooner being together does not have to be so planned.' Jyou then felt guilty for yelling at Koushiro, for that must of been his thinking all along.

'Koushiro...did you sing that just for me..?' Jyou thought as he cheeks burned with his emotion. 'Well, the gesture certainly can't go unreturned, can it...?'
Jyou clicked opened his favourite midi again. 'Only I don't have a recorder. But you do, obviously...' Jyou smiled and started to plan out his reply to Koushiro's song.
Koushiro was typing away at his computer, constantly checking his email for a reply. For something, anything, any sort of indication that Jyou had received his email with his song. His confession of love. Well, it was too late for that, however, it was still an expression of his feelings. It may not be a romantic song in the view of others, however, it was special. He meant it for Jyou.
He only hoped Jyou would catch on to that, that it was a song he sung just for him.
He was looking at the pictures of Jyou and him on his laptop, silently praying that now that they had that, that it would never change. This was the only thing he had ever truly wanted in his life...
To lose it now..
No....
A sudden buzz from the apartment buzzer woke Koushiro from his thoughts. He thought of leaving it however remember that his parents had gone out today and that he was home alone. So he got up from his bed and, after getting a chair to reach the buzzer with, he pressed the button to answer.
"Moshi, moshi.." Koushiro more grumbled than greeted as his ego had been hurt by having to use a chair to reach the buzzer.
"Uh..hi...." the shy voice returned, obviously a bit discouraged by his grumpiness.
"Jyou!" Koushiro exclaimed happily. "Come on up!"
"Thanks..." Jyou's voice sounded more confident..
'He sounded so happy...' Jyou thought, dreamily, as he boarded the elevator. When he reached first floor, once again, there was the ordeal of having to find Koudshiro's apartment.
When he finally spotted Koushiro's apartment, Jyou ran so fast towards that he slipped and fell on his face. Just as he was getting up again his bag fell right on top of his head, causing him to drop back down with a loud *BANG*
Koushiro, when he heard a loud commotion outside his door, opened it in curiousity. There, some feet before his doorstep, was Jyou, with his bag on his head, and the streams of tears going down Jyou's cheeks with the most annoyed look on his face. Although Jyou was crying..
Koushiro could not help but laugh at him though.
"Yeah, that's it, yuck it up." Jyou grumbled loudly as he got up, rubbing the new bump on his head.
"Aww...you want me to kiss you better?" Koushiro, in his laughing, walked over to Jyou and did just that, causing Jyou to turn a deep shade of red.
When they went inside, Jyou had noticed that there was no one in the apartment except for him and Koushiro. "Hey, Koushiro?"
"Yes?" Koushiro replied, looking up from his task of preparing some tea and snacks.
"Where are you parents?" Jyou asked, pushing his glasses up his nose.
"They went out, and shouldn't be back for awhile." Koushiro said, smiling mysteriously at Jyou.
"Oh..r..really..?" Jyou almost swallowed. 'Why am I so shy? I've been alone with him plenty of times.' Jyou scratched the back of his head. 'Probably cause today I'm going to...to...'
Jyou blushed and pulled on his collar a little.
"Jyou?"
Jyou snapped out of his thoughts. "Y-yeah?"
"Why are you so nervous?" Koushiro asked him, picking up a tray and taking it back to his room. Jyou followed with a tray of tea and quickly tried to think of an excuse.
"Well...I..." Jyou stammered. 'Ok, so, I'm really nervous.
"What's wrong?" Koushiro asked, placing the tray down and looking Jyou in the eyes, reassuringly. There was no hurt, no nothing, just....
"Nothing! Nothing! I'm fine!" Jyou was starting to sweat from his nervousness. There was nothing but love in Koushiro's eyes...love for him...Jyou blushed and looked away from those loving eyes, which, although they did not mean to, were making him more and more nervous.
Koushiro put a hand on Jyou's, holding it gently. "Are you sure..?" Koushiro asked gently.
"Yeah! I'm fine!" Jyou said, shining a quick calm smile.
Koushiro smiled too. "So..did you..check your email at all..?"
"Yes, I did..." Jyou's heart started to accelerate. 'I'll never do this right unless I calm down! It's just Koushiro, not Vandemon.'
'JUST the most important person in your life ever. No big deal.' Jyou thought sarcastically.
"And..?" Koushiro asked hopefully, exposing himself. His heart, his mind, his soul, all of it was open to Jyou just at that moment, fearing rejection and embracing acceptance.
Jyou hugged him. "I think it's the best song I've ever listened to." Jyou smiled, kissing him on the cheek.
Koushiro returned the hug happily. "Thank you..."
"Why did you make it, anyhow?" Jyou asked curiously, rubbing Koushiro's back.
"Because of what you said about you thinking that my computer is more important to me than what you are...." Koushiro said into Jyou's shirt.
Jyou sighed. "Koushiro, I'm sorry I ever said, I was just, well, I wanted attention and forgot that I'm not the only one on the planet, I'm sorry."
"No, no it's ok Jyou, I'm glad I sang that song for you." Koushiro smiled at him. Once again, Jyou was speechless, his heart melting within his chest.
"Koushiro..." Jyou said, blushing. "Thank you, for the song..."
"Anything, for you..." Koushiro replied, holding Jyou's hand. Koushiro, he was always eager to express affection to and receive affection from Jyou. Not that that is a bad thing.
Jyou then took a deep breath. For him, it was time to face the music, literally. "Koushiro, did you check your email yet?"
"No, not yet..." Koushiro raised his eyebrow. 'Did he send a reply?'
"Oh..could...you check it now please?" Jyou asked, his eyes darting around the room, trying to hide his secret from Koushiro.
"Alright.." Koushiro grinned, knowing there was something waiting for him in his email account.
Koushiro got up and booted up his computer, for once, having to been asked to do so. He glanced back at Jyou, who seemed rather on edge. 'What's the matter with him, I wonder?'
Koushiro returned his gaze to his computer. 'Just what is Jyou planning?'
Upon startup, Koushiro connected to the almighty all-powerful internet, and then turned on JOL.
"Konnichiwa" the screen beeped at him and then "you have mail". Koushiro grinned again and looked back at Jyou, only Jyou was not there. He whipped his head around to see that Jyou was sitting next to him, reaching for something in his desk drawer.
Koushiro saw that he had received an email from Jyou06@jol.com.
"I think I'm insane, but I hope you like my reply when you get it. BTW, that was a really great song, you should consider the professional singing business, you know?" Koushiro blushed at the comment, and then looked at the attachments. "chigau.midi?" Koushiro read out loud, looking at Jyou, who seemed to have found whatever it was he was looking for because he had a grin on his face. Still, he seemed very nervous.
Koushiro opened the midi file, and just as he began to listen to it, Jyou grabbed the mouse and clicked the stop button. Koushiro glanced over at Jyou to see that Jyou had his microphone in his hand.
"I...I uh..." Jyou stammered, looked away, sighed, then look Koushiro back in the eye. "I thought that it was so nice of you to sing a song...that..."
"That...?" Koushiro asked slowly, raising an eyebrow.
"That I thought it should be a returned favour..." Jyou said slowly, taking another deep breath, then he connected the microphone driver to Koushiro's computer.
Koushiro just began to understand what it was that Jyou was doing and gasped.
Jyou played the midi and hit the record button.

Koushiro stared at Jyou in shock. Jyou was singing, right in front of him, he was singing!
Kekka ga wakatte iru no ni
Doushite yarun darou?
Sou omotteta kedo
Jibun no te de kaerareru koto wa
Takusan arun da yo
If you know what the outcome will be
Then why bother?
That's what I used to think
There are plenty of things
That you can change yourself
Jyou had got up and started to relax more, singing in tune with the beat of the midi, moving to the rhythm of it. Koushiro could only stare in shock for a while, until Jyou's words started to register in his mind.
Chigau boku ga iru
Sekaijuu ni afureteru
Chigau boku ga iru
Mirai de matte irun da
Daiji na no wa shinjiru koto
Shiranai doa wo tataku koto wo
There's another me
Overflowing the Earth
There's another me
Waiting in the future
The important thing is to believe
And to knock on that unknown door
Koushiro found himself smiling. 'Jyou, you have a beautiful voice....'
'A hidden you? What could you mean...?'
'His parents oppressed him for so many years, perhaps he means he is finally starting to be true to himself.
Damattetan da shitteta kedo
Boku nara dekiru tte koto
Demo, ruuru wo yaburu no
Kowagatte ita
I kept quiet, even though I knew
That I could do it
But I was afraid
To break the rules
'I always thought that the strength you show in these moments with me so differs from the coward you let everyone else see..'Koushiro thought. 'Could he possibly mean that he only opens up..to me...?' Koushiro's eyes widened with realization.
'Jyou...'
Jibun jishin kizu tsuku no ni
Doushite yarun darou?
Baka ni shite ita kedo
Kega shinai to wakaranai koto wa
Takusan arun da yo
If it hurts you
Then why do it?
I made fun of people like that
There are many things you won't understand
Unless you get hurt
Jyou's eyes caught Koushiro's, and Koushiro could see the fear and love in Jyou's eyes. 'Jyou's only human, he's as vulnerable as I am..' Koushiro thought. Koushiro noticed how Jyou's hand touched the scar that lay hidden beneath his sweater around his ribs. Koushiro nodded. 'That's right...'
Chigau boku ga iru
Mune no naka ni kakureteru
Chigau boku ni naru
Daremo ga shitte irun da
Kimi mo kitto ki zuite iru
Shiranai kimi no me wo samasou
There's another me
Hidden in my heart
There's another me
That no one knows
I'm sure you realize it, too
Awaken your unknown self
Jyou was looking straight into his eyes, expressing one simple thing. Koushiro smiled softly. 'No one knows...except me...?' Koushiro reached a hand up to touch his chest where his heart lay hidden, as to show passing precious knowledge to his heart.
Chigau boku ga iru
Sekaijuu ni afureteru
Chigau boku ga iru
Mirai de matte irun da
Daiji na no wa shinjiru koto
Shiranai doa wo tataku koto wo
There's another me
Overflowing the Earth
There's another me
Waiting in the future
The important thing is to believe
And to knock on that unkown door
"Jyou.." Koushiro whispered as Jyou walked over to the computer, pressing the stop button and saving the file as "Chigaubokugairu.mp3". He turned back to face Koushiro , smiling happily, and still blushing.
"Umm....from my heart to yours.."Jyou scratched the back of his head. He sat down next to Koushiro. "Well...?"
Koushiro smiled before he jumped Jyou, yet again, hugging him, knocking him down against the bed. "You have a beautiful voice, Jyou..." he whispered lovingly, holding his love close to him.
Jyou, the response he gave had become so automatic that it usually took him a moment to notice that he had Koushiro in his arms, he only noticed that he felt warmth in his arms, and in his heart. Jyou held Koushiro tightly. "Forgive me?"
"Huh..?" Koushiro asked, looking up at Jyou.
"For yelling at you earlier...?" Jyou asked. "I mean, it was really selfish of me and I'm sorry I ever said it-" Jyou's lips were silenced by Koushiro's finger.
"There are many things you won't understand unless you get hurt, Jyou." Koushiro pulled himself up until his face was right over Jyou's. "For the few days or hours of pain we may suffer, the great moments of happiness we spend together is more than worth it, or so I think." Koushiro wrapped his arms around Jyou's neck.
"Koushiro..that's so beautiful.." Jyou hugged Koushiro.
Koushiro shook his head. "No, you are though."
Jyou, growing tired of words, reached a hand up behind Koushiro's head, pushing it gently down until Koushiro's lips met his own in a sweet kiss.
'My heart sings for you...' the two boys thought as they spent another perfect eternity of the day together.
